This book is a little gem & can be really appreciated by both children & adults alike. I bought it for a friend who'd lost her mum last year & loved it so much it made her cry, but in a good way! Beautifully illustrated & written.

An enormously kind, comforting book succeeding in conveying the ideas of loss and remembrance in ways that resonate with young readers. This is no mean feat, and it provides an excellent way to broach difficult subjects with children. It also remains Christmassy, with all the festive emotional heft of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Truly wonderful!
